Opportunity
CSR are seeking a driven and commercially astute Account Manager – Commercial / Distributor to join our high-performing team in Brisbane. This role is ideal for a relationship-focused sales professional who thrives on growing market share, strengthening partnerships, and delivering value-driven solutions within the building and construction space.
In this role, you will take ownership of a portfolio, driving sales growth through strategic account management, distributor engagement, and proactive business development. You will play a key role in executing commercial strategies, enhancing customer relationships, and unlocking new growth opportunities. This role requires regular travel across Brisbane and Sunshine Coast, travel to the Burnett region, and Western Queensland, including Chinchilla through to Roma on a quarterly basis, to support and grow your customer portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver sales targets and execute commercial strategy
* Build and strengthen relationships with distributors, resellers, and contractors
* Identify and grow sales opportunities across Interior Systems
* Manage pricing, annual reviews, and contract performance (including renewals and rebates)
* Maintain structured customer engagement and CRM activity (Dynamics 365)
* Collaborate with internal teams and support customer enquiries
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and identify growth opportunities
* Develop and implement account growth plans to increase market share
About You
* Proven experience in Account Management or Business Development
* Background in the building industry or technical sales highly regarded
* Strong interest in understanding the technical aspects of construction and interior systems
* Ability to analyse market segments, channels, competitors, and project opportunities
* Experience working with installation subcontractors and contractor networks
* Commercial mindset with the ability to influence and create value propositions
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with CRM systems
