Are you the New Retail Store _Assistant Manager_ to be based at our _Park Ridge_ store, on South side of Brisbane, Queensland?
Your role will be reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will assist in leading people, store operations, and store environment to achieve sales, service, organisation, customer satisfaction, and profitability goals while maintaining safety and operational standards.
**Responsibilities of your role include, but not be limited to**:
- Lead by example to promote the brand and culture internally and externally by living our values and beliefs.
- Ensure the store is ready for business every day, implementing and maintaining standards of visual merchandising and store appearance.
- Support the store manager to recruit, train, lead and engage the team.
- Ensure we provide service excellence to internal and external stakeholders.
- Take all the necessary measures to ensure the safety and security of all customers and staff.
- Daily stock management
**To be successful in this role, you will have**:
- Previous experience as a retail supervisor/ leader assisting in managing the daily operation of store in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and listening skills with a resilient and confident profile.
- Knowledge of computerised POS systems, Payroll, Rostering, and training systems.
- Ability to problem solve, think outside the box and make decisions on the spot.
- Availability to work long shifts, weekends, holiday, and seasonal periods, when necessary, to meet the business requirements.
- Physical requirements include the ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, push, and pull, some heavy lifting, and stand for extended periods of time.
**Salary**: $24.75 - $24.76 per hour
