St Laurence's College is a Catholic School in the Edmund Rice Tradition with an enrolment of approximately 2,000 boys from Years 5-12.
Applications are invited for the full-time Middle Leadership Position of Assistant Head of Sport - Coaching and Performance, commencing Monday, 19 January 2026.
The Assistant Head of Sport – Coaching and Performance assists in the leadership of the Co-curricular Sports Program at the College. This includes the College's commitment to the Associated Independent Colleges (AIC), as well as non-association sports and representative sport. They will work under the direction of the Head of Sport and the Director of Sport to assist in carrying out these duties.
All qualified candidates are welcome to apply and may be a teacher or a non-teacher. The salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
The successful candidate will have the following:
* At least 1-2 years' experience in a sports leadership role in a school or club context;
* An appropriate level of professional qualification both formal and informal and/or relevant experience, particularly in the area of co-curricular sport;
* Must have current First Aid Certificate or undertaking to complete the certificate prior to commencing in the role;
* Leadership capacity - a broad vision of holistic educational practice, initiative, perseverance, acceptance of responsibility, effective organisational skill, ability to engage in professional discourse and to communicate appropriately, and ability to foster cooperation and collegiality; and
* Demonstrated knowledge of a wide variety of sports and the school sport environment.
