About The Role
The Cyber Communication and Change Manager is responsible for the successful uplift and adoption of the cybersecurity behavioural, cultural and process change across Swinburne University of Technology. The Manager works collaboratively across all areas of the University, including the Cyber Resilience Program, to further improve students' and staff's cyber knowledge. This role supports the university's commitment to uplifting cyber engagement and resilience and acts as an ambassador to staff, students and external stakeholders.
The Manager reports directly to the Chief Information Security Officer and collaborates closely with the Cyber Resilience Program Manager to ensure effective execution and delivery of cyber education and operational change management initiatives.
This is a full‐time, ongoing position at our Hawthorn campus.
About You
To be suitable for this role you need experience in the following key accountabilities:
* Extensive understanding of Information Security systems and processes
* Ability to develop and implement comprehensive multi‐channel strategic education plans designed to build awareness, enhance culture and change behaviours
* Experienced change agent across Information Security, demonstrable experience in creating change in practices, adding value to the University
* Ability in managing and facilitating change impact, including stakeholder impact assessment sessions, to articulate benefits and impact of change
* Aptitude for simplifying complex information and crafting messaging that resonates with and educates stakeholders
* Experience working with a high degree of autonomy, managing and prioritizing workload, and delivering on deadlines
* Proven excellence in identifying, evaluating and reporting communication key performance indicators and metrics
* Propensity for identifying and engaging key stakeholders and influencers to drive change and enhance culture
* Demonstrated excellent professional written and verbal communication skills; persuasive and thought leadership highly regarded
* Highly developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
