Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and experienced HSE Advisor to join our Brisbane health and safety team and play a pivotal role across multiple civil and building projects.
This is a key position of influence, requiring a high-calibre professional with a proven track record in workplace safety and environmental management.
You will work closely with project teams to ensure compliance, drive best practice, and foster a culture of safety and accountability, making a real impact on the safety and success of our teams.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with project teams to ensure program integrity
Maintain HSE records to ensure compliance with ISO and system requirements
Assist the Project Team in planning, designing, implementing and delivering works
Lead toolbox meetings and contribute to Corporate HSE objectives
Support skills identification and training, including annual training plan delivery
Drive compliance and risk minimisation strategies across projects
Conduct incident investigations and review project HSE performance
Partner with project stakeholders to embed safety excellence
About You
Minimum 3 years' experience as an HSE Advisor in construction
Cert IV in Workplace Health & Safety (minimum qualification)
Strong knowledge of legislation and Safety system frameworks
Formal incident investigation training
High level of digital literacy (Procore experience desirable)
Proactive, motivated, and solutions-focused with excellent communication skills
Skilled negotiator with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
Enlightened approach to safety culture
