The opportunity Reporting to the Country Manager ANZ, you will take ownership of the consumer portfolio across Australia and New Zealand, driving both marketing and category initiatives that deliver sales and margin growth. The role sits at the intersection of marketing, category management, sales and supply chain, so you’ll be the key connector between local teams and global stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: Develop and execute consumer marketing strategies based on customer insight, market trends and competitor analysis. Turn research and data into clear marketing plans, campaigns and messaging that build brand awareness and support the sales team. Plan and manage product launches, including forecasts, pricing input, sales collateral, promotions and advertising activity. Work closely with global marketing and supply chain to align on best practices, innovation pipelines and supply planning. Own the category vision and three‑year growth plan for the portfolio, identifying category growth opportunities and portfolio optimisations. Lead and manage category reviews, including market analysis, space and range recommendations, and category‑focused business reviews for retail partners. Conduct commercial and financial analysis to build robust business cases for new products and initiatives. Champion the voice of the customer and consumer through the product development cycle, working with local and global stakeholders. Drive and contribute to S&OP processes for more accurate forecasting, inventory planning and new product introductions. Lead cross‑functional go‑to‑market activation meetings and support revenue growth management and pricing recommendations. Prepare clear, actionable reporting on market dynamics, brand performance and competitor activity. About you Most importantly, you bring a positive, proactive, “roll‑up‑your‑sleeves” mindset and enjoy being the person who gets things done and brings people together. You’re comfortable switching between strategic conversations and execution details, and you like owning outcomes. You will also bring: 5–7 years’ experience in marketing, brand or category roles within consumer products, FMCG or similar. Experience marketing products and solutions, ideally across retail and trade channels. Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business or a related discipline. Strong communication and stakeholder skills – you can influence across sales, operations and global functions. Solid analytical capability – you’re confident working with numbers, building business cases and telling the story behind the data. Proven success working in cross‑functional environments and managing multiple projects concurrently.
