GenesisCare has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager to join our established Medical Oncology team in South Australia, working across multiple locations.
As the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the administration and support operations across our Medical Oncology centres in South Australia, facilitating the delivery of high-quality patient centred services. As part of the Adelaide Oncology leadership team, the Practice Manager plays a key role in ensuring patients have access to and receive the highest quality care. The key focus of the Practice Manage role is to lead a team in delivering a full suite of patience support solutions. This includes Patient Services, Accounts and back office operations. The Practice Manager will play a critical role in building and facilitating cross
- functional stakeholder relationships, including Medical Oncologists, clinicians and other healthcare professionals.
On offer is a permanent full time position, working 38 hours per week (Mon-Fri).
What you’ll do:
- Support medical oncology operations in accordance with best practice indicators in patient care, quality, safety, people and financial management.
- Contribute to (in some cases lead) a portfolio of work that will assist with the improvement of performance and standardisation across GenesisCare.
- Lead and manage all practice management staffing activities, including but not limited to: Recruitment of non-clinical team members, completion of annual Goal/KPI setting, Mid-Year and Annual Performance reviews, remuneration review and succession planning.
- Ensure HR, Workday and Payroll processes are undertaken effectively, to support Workday and Payroll data accuracy and quality reporting.
- Provide regular feedback and support to the team, to ensure high performance is recognised and rewarded.
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge of legislative, EPA, Department of Health & Ageing, and Medicare requirements and compliance structures, as well as internal policies and procedures, in preparation for internal and external audits.
- Support the accreditation of the Centre and contributing to the Practice’s accreditation under the NSQHS undertaken by the chosen accrediting body.
- Ensure staff members are appropriately trained, mandatory training records are kept and reports are available for compliance reporting.
- Champion initiatives relating to patient care, including Net Promoter Score (NPS) and Patient Experience programs.
- Lead and be accountable for sustainable Safety and Quality programs (including external review processes) and communicate outcomes.
Who you are:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively coach and lead staff from differing backgrounds and craft groups, including delegating as required.
- Ability to make effective, evidence-based decisions.
- Knowledge of healthcare services and previous practice management experience.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office software.
- Aptitude for IT systems.
- Previous oncology or healthcare experience.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality patient care.
- Demonstrated commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
