We are partnering with a well established and expanding Australian-owned food manufacturer supplying high quality products to major retail and foodservice customers nationwide. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a hands-on and commercially minded Production Manager to take ownership of their primary manufacturing site in Greenacre.

What You'll Be Doing
* Leading and developing supervisors and production teams to achieve daily output targets
* Driving performance across safety, quality, cost and delivery KPIs
* Embedding a strong food safety and compliance culture
* Managing labour planning and workforce efficiency to optimise cost control
* Overseeing production scheduling to meet customer demand
* Partnering with maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime
* Analysing production data to identify improvement opportunities
* Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste
* Reporting on site performance to senior leadership
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Production Manager (or Senior Production Leader ready to step up) within food processing or food packaging
* Strong knowledge of food safety and quality systems
* Experience leading large teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
* Commercial acumen with the ability to manage costs and drive efficiencies
* A hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and hold teams accountable
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across departments
