Do you have a few years of experience working in OSHC, Early Childhood care or teaching and are looking to build your career in a close community, with paid admin hours and great team?
A service based in Sunbury is looking for a passionate and organised Coordinator for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time position at 31.75 hours per week all year round - the perfect balance!
Hours will be Monday –Friday, 07:00 – 09:00 AM (Rise then Shine Program) and 02:45 – 06:30 PM (Stay and Play Program) plus 3 additional admin hours. During school holidays shifts will be available 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
In addition to a competitive salary, there is also a $1000 commencement bonus at the completion of first month plus another $1000 loyalty bonus at 12 months + split shift allowance + uniform allowance + other benefits + super.
About the role
Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
1. Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
2. Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
3. Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
4. Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

About the service
Based in Sunbury, there is plenty of room to build lasting relationships and a strong sense of community in this school! It operates out of a shared pack-up space along with outdoor play areas catering to an attendance of 60 students max. You calm, caring attitude will be well rewarded, and see you thrive in this lovely team.
Who are we looking for?
A few basics you need to have:
5. Confident and clear communicator
6. Experience working with neurodivergent children
7. Can juggle a busy space and competing priorities
8. 2 years industry experience: ideally in OSHC or Early Childhood care (but open to other areas)
9. Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
10. Australian work rights
11. Holds or is working towards a Diploma in an ACECQA approved area (see the ACECQA website for more information)
