Our client, a global leader in next-generation financial technology platforms, is seeking a Senior Vice President – Head of ANZ to lead and scale its Australia & New Zealand business.
About the Role
This is a strategic and execution-driven leadership mandate. The role carries full P&L ownership for the ANZ region, responsible for driving enterprise sales growth, expanding strategic banking relationships, building a high-performance regional team, and strengthening ecosystem partnerships across financial institutions and systems integrators. The successful candidate will play a critical role in positioning our client as a dominant digital transformation partner for Tier 1, Tier 2, and emerging financial institutions across ANZ.
Responsibilities
Regional Business Leadership & P&L Ownership
Own and deliver revenue, margin, and growth targets across the ANZ region.
Develop and execute a multi-year regional growth strategy aligned to global priorities.
Drive predictable pipeline generation and disciplined forecast management.
Build executive-level relationships across banks, non-banking financial institutions, fintechs, and regulators.
Enterprise Sales & Strategic Account Expansion
Lead complex, multi-million-dollar enterprise pursuits across:
Core Banking Modernization
Digital Banking Platforms
Payments & Transaction Banking
Treasury & Liquidity Management
Wealth Management Platforms
Open Banking & Embedded Finance
AI-led Customer Experience & Decisioning Systems
Engage CXOs including CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, Heads of Digital, Payments, Risk, and Transformation.
Navigate regulatory and compliance environments specific to ANZ (APRA, ASIC, RBNZ frameworks).
Lead negotiations, commercial structuring, and closure of strategic deals.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
Lead, mentor, and scale the ANZ regional sales organization.
Build a high-performance culture focused on disciplined execution and collaborative selling.
Align Sales, Pre-Sales, Delivery, and Customer Success teams for integrated pursuit management.
Implement performance management frameworks, territory planning, and incentive alignment.
Attract and retain senior sales talent across Australia and New Zealand.
Ecosystem & Partner Strategy
Develop and activate relationships with leading Systems Integrators and consulting firms in ANZ.
Drive co-sell and joint GTM initiatives with boutique and global SIs.
Establish mutual business plans and structured partner engagement frameworks.
Strengthen the regional ecosystem to accelerate enterprise AI and digital banking transformation.

Represent our client at industry forums, fintech events, and executive roundtables.
Shape thought leadership across digital banking transformation, AI adoption, and next-gen financial infrastructure.
Provide market feedback to global product and leadership teams to influence roadmap evolution.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related discipline; MBA preferred.
18+ years of enterprise sales and business leadership experience.
Minimum 12+ years within BFSI technology or financial services platforms.
Proven track record selling:

Payments Infrastructure
Treasury & Liquidity Systems
SaaS / AI Platforms to Banks
Demonstrated success leading ANZ regional sales teams with P&L accountability.
Experience managing large, complex deal cycles (USD 5M–50M+ TCV).
Strong understanding of ANZ financial regulations and compliance frameworks.
Experience working within matrixed global organizations.
Prior leadership exposure across Australia & New Zealand banking landscape is essential.
Willingness to travel across ANZ and periodically to global headquarters.
