Key Responsibilities
* Collecting samples (blood and non-blood) with care and attention to ensure accuracy and reliability.
* Maintaining meticulous records for every patient and sample to guarantee seamless communication and processing.
* Delivering documentation within strict turnaround times to meet our commitment to timely and efficient service.
* Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.
* Liaising with various stakeholders, including customers, clinic staff, and couriers, to provide exceptional customer service and support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy/ Certificate III in Pathology Collection or a related healthcare background.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high level of empathy and understanding.
* The ability to work autonomously, sometimes in a solo clinic environment, requiring strong time management and attention to detail.
* A valid Driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics as required.
* A working with Children's Check or be willing to obtain one, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency or a valid visa with permission to work.
