Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Customer Service Officer to join our Bayswater trade store team. This role supports our customers through email enquiries and inbound calls, working closely with our specialist counter staff and warehouse team.
You'll be part of the behind‐the‐scenes team supporting trade customers in a lively, hands‐on wholesale environment, with stock and expertise readily available on site.
You'll be joining a small, close‐knit team, so collaboration, accountability, and a proactive mindset are essential.
What You'll Be Doing
* Managing customer enquiries via email and phone with a professional, solutions‐focused approach
* Assisting a broad range of trade customers with orders, availability, pricing and general enquiries
* Processing sales orders, credits and returns accurately and efficiently
* Liaising with the front counter, warehouse and internal teams to resolve enquiries
* Providing timely updates so customers feel informed and supported
* Managing multiple enquiries at once in a busy, high‐energy trade store environment
* Contributing to a positive team culture where everyone pitches in
Qualifications
This role will suit someone who is a self‐starter and confident communicator, comfortable handling all types of enquiries and customers.
You'll Bring
* Experience in customer service, internal sales or order processing (trade or wholesale environment highly regarded)
* Confidence dealing with phone and email enquiries in a fast‐paced setting
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing
* A practical, problem‐solving mindset — you're not afraid to get stuck in
* The ability to stay calm, organised and customer‐focused when things get busyA team‐first attitude — you enjoy being part of a small, collaborative group
* Willingness to be on‐site full time and contribute to the day‐to‐day rhythm of a trade store
