The Opportunity
You will advise employers on a broad range of workplace relations and employment law matters, including:
* Workplace investigations, including bullying, sexual harassment and other sensitive employee matters
* Employment disputes, including unfair dismissal, discrimination and general protections claims
* Enterprise bargaining, industrial relations issues and industrial disputes
* Employment contracts, workplace policies and Fair Work Act compliance
* Organisational change, workforce management and transfer of business matters
* Restraint of trade and post‐employment disputes
* Independent contractor and workforce classification issues
* Work health and safety matters
The role offers a strong mix of advisory and dispute‐related work, providing exposure to the full spectrum of workplace relations issues faced by modern employers.
You will work closely with clients across sectors including health and aged care, professional services, financial services, construction, property, technology, retail, hospitality and government.
Level dependent, you will be encouraged to take ownership of client relationships, contribute to business development initiatives and play an active role in mentoring junior lawyers.
About You
* Employment, workplace relations and / or industrial relations law
* Experience gained within a well‐regarded employment practice
* Strong technical, drafting and communication skills
* Sound commercial judgement and attention to detail
* An interest in building long‐term client relationships and contributing to practice growth
Valid Australian working rights are required.
