Cyber Risk Consultant Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cyber risk management, with expertise in identifying and analyzing potential threats.
Key Responsibilities:
* Security Controls Assessment: Identify, assess and test security controls in line with government security frameworks.
* Security Documentation: Manage security documentation, certification, risk assessments, and system authorisations.
* Risk Analysis: Analyze and document security risks, recommending improvements to practices and controls.
* Project Contribution: Contribute to projects by developing and reviewing security artefacts and risk reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Australian Government Security Practices: Strong knowledge of Australian Government security practices and the ISM.
* Security Experience: Security experience in complex ICT environments and understanding of cyber threats.
* Risk and Security Frameworks: Expertise in risk and security frameworks (e.g. PSPF, ISO 27001/2).
* Pressure Management: Ability to deliver under pressure with a proven track record of outcomes.
