The Role
As the Senior Business Development Manager for Queensland, you will lead Intuit Technologies' new business growth across the corporate and commercial market in the state. This is a strategic, new business-focused role. You will identify the organizations worth investing in, build relationships at a senior level, and connect client challenges to practical technology outcomes. A small foundation of existing named accounts will provide initial momentum, while the primary focus remains on developing new opportunities and expanding the Queensland footprint.
What's Involved
You will manage your own territory with the autonomy to determine where to focus your time and energy. Your week will include senior stakeholder engagement, strategic account planning, and conversations focused on operational improvement, resilience, AI adoption, cybersecurity, infrastructure strategy and long-term technology direction. The discussions are commercially driven and outcome-focused, centred on helping organizations modernize environments, strengthen operational performance and reduce complexity.
You will also work closely with key vendor partners including Dell Technologies, Microsoft, Telstra, Fortinet, Nutanix and Extreme Networks to support executive briefings, customer events, roundtables and thought leadership activities that create meaningful engagement and long‐term pipeline opportunities. You will lead the commercial relationship and opportunity progression, supported by experienced technical, pre‐sales and delivery teams across the business.
Your Background
As an experienced IT services, MSP or enterprise technology Business Development Manager, you value autonomy, accountability and the ability to work alongside a highly capable technical and delivery team. You are commercially credible across the technology landscape and comfortable engaging with CIOs, IT leaders and senior business stakeholders including business owners and C‐suite executives. You bring experience building pipeline and developing new business opportunities across corporate, commercial or mid‐market environments, with the ability to manage complex sales cycles and maintain momentum over time. You operate well with autonomy, take ownership of outcomes, and are motivated by building long‐term value rather than transactional sales.
The Requirements
* Proven new business track record in IT services, MSP, or enterprise technology sales
* Experience selling across cloud, cybersecurity, modern workplace, data, networking or infrastructure solutions
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop and close new corporate or mid‐market opportunities
* Credibility engaging with CIOs, IT decision-makers and senior business stakeholders
* Self‐directed approach with the discipline to build territory and pipeline independently
* Strong alignment to a collaborative, high‐performance environment
What's In It For You
The package includes a base salary of $130,000 to $150,000, superannuation, a car allowance of $10,000 to $15,000, and an uncapped commission model that includes annuity income on MRR, allowing earnings to build over time.
You will also be backed by:
* A highly experienced national technical and delivery team
* Strong vendor partnerships across leading technology platforms
* Established national capability and operational support
* A collaborative culture with high standards and strong internal alignment
* The opportunity to help shape the continued growth of the Queensland business
