Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Installs pavers, tiles, natural stone and limestone blocks
- Cutting, shaping and polishing stones and bricks using machines and hand tools, and shaping bricks to fit irregular spaces.
- Installation of metal edging
- Reads landscape design prints to determine materials, dimensions and implements the landscape construction plan.
- Understands elevations and uses this knowledge to execute the construction plan.
- Operates, proficiently, a variety of mechanical equipment, including bobcats, backhoes, plate compactors, stone grinders, drills, gas and electric chop saws, demolition hammers, and jackhammers.
- Operates automatic and manual vehicles, such as ute and truck and trailer combinations.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment, including worksite and equipment.
- Maintains assigned equipment and notifies mechanics of needed repairs.
**Requirements**:
- The successful individual will have a working knowledge of standard construction practices and a basic understanding of electricity, piping, and plumbing.
- 3-5 years of hardscape and landscape installation experience preferred.
- Able to work well with others.
- Read & execute blueprints.
- Paver, step, and wall installation with Uni-Lock or a similar product(s)
- Retaining wall, walkway, raised patio, and paving around the pool area.
- Masonry and veneer work is a plus.
- Recognise plant material.
- Operate/use all landscape tools & equipment effectively.
- Operate skid-steer & mini-excavators effectively.
- Valid manual driver's license & good driving record.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
