The Opportunity
G.James Windows and Doors fabricates, sells and installs a wide range of aluminium windows and doors to the residential and commercial construction markets. We have an opportunity for an Apprentice Glazier where, over time, you will become a core member of our Townsville Windows and Doors team.

The Role
As an Apprentice Glazier, you'll gain the trade skills and experience needed to become a qualified glazier. Your training will combine on-the-job experience with skilled tradespeople and formal learning through TAFE.
During your apprenticeship, you'll gain experience in
Glass skills – secure handling, moving, and cutting (manual and machine-based)
Residential fabrication – fabricating and assembling a wide range of windows, doors, and screens, including aluminium frame processing
Residential glazing – glazing, re-glazing, and installing windows, doors, screens, shower screens, mirrors, and glass splashbacks
Commercial glazing – installing and re-glazing structural and commercial products
About You
We are seeking enthusiastic candidates who:
Have a genuine interest in the manufacturing / construction industry
Enjoy hands-on work and developing practical trade skills
Possess strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Can work effectively with a wide range of people
Hold a current driver's licence and own vehicle
Are willing to travel to Brisbane for TAFE block training
