Financial Transactions Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our organization. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for processing accurate and timely transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

* Process debtor payments, invoices, and credit notes accurately and efficiently.
* Conduct thorough credit checks and set up new customers to minimize risks.
* Prepare and send end-of-month statements to clients in a timely manner.
* Investigate and resolve receivable issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.

Accounts Payable Functionality:

* High-volume processing of invoices and matching to purchase orders for seamless payment allocation.
* Cost and code invoices, allocating costs to jobs/projects effectively.
* Schedule and process weekly and monthly payments to suppliers in accordance with agreed terms.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers regarding accounts payable matters to ensure smooth communication.

General Duties:

* Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external parties through effective communication and collaboration.
* Ensure accurate and timely data entry for all transactions to maintain data integrity.
* Proactively identify and resolve issues, escalating where necessary to prevent delays.
* Support a team learning environment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Certificate III/IV in Accounts Administration or similar qualification.
* Experience using JD Edwards (JDE) or other Oracle software to manage financial transactions.
