 
        
        Fire Systems Technician Job Description
We are seeking a Fire Systems Technician to join our team in maintaining, testing and inspecting fire detection and suppression systems in accordance with Australian Standards and Defence requirements.
 * Maintenance Activities:
 o Maintain fire detection and suppression systems to ensure they are functioning correctly
 o Test and inspect systems regularly to identify any issues or defects
 * Responsive Maintenance:
 o Respond promptly to maintenance requests from Defence representatives
 o Complete corrective maintenance tasks efficiently
 * Record Keeping:
 o Ensure all records and test results are accurate and up-to-date
 o Enter data into relevant systems
 * Communication:
 o Liaise with Defence representatives regarding system status and maintenance requirements
Requirements for the Role:
 * Certificate III in Fire Systems Testing and Inspections is essential
 * Industry experience in fire systems inspection, testing, maintenance and repair is required
 * Australian Citizenship is necessary to obtain and retain Defence Security Clearance
 * An Open Driver's Licence is also required
