Our client's needs are at the core of everything we do – their success is our success.We are proud of our workplace culture, and we reward and recognise our people who best represent our company values of excellence, passion, caring, integrity, collaboration and courage.As a Piping Designer, you will support the success of ACOR, both locally and on a national level across our Energy discipline, working on Fuel & Chemical handling and storage facility design.The ideal candidate will possess pipework and associated infrastructure modelling capabilities and have exposure to petrochemical or related industries.Duties & ResponsibilitiesProduce 3D design projects from tender and concept to detailed design, in accordance with Australian standards and authority codesEnsure that accurate drawing and registration systems are produced according to supplied specifications and applicable standards, internal and external.Liaise with internal & external stakeholdersSupporting the core drafting team inhouse as required, in the capacity of design draftspersonActively participating in supporting and improving the ACOR petrochemical and dangerous goods offered companywideSkills & ExperienceExperience with AutoCAD and Plant3DStrong 3D modelling capabilities in pipework and associated infrastructureComputer skills in areas outside of CAD, i.e. Word Processing, Excel and OutlookAbility to interpret and understand Australian standardsThe ability to work unsupervised and complete drawings from a design brief.This is an excellent opportunity to work in an established team, working on both local nation projects.ACOR is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
