About your new role
The Standards and Methods Analyst maintains and deploys the Business Improvement methodologies, tools, and templates ensuring alignment with industry standards.
The role supports Business Improvement training, knowledge sharing, and maintains the knowledge base.
Responsibilities include:
1. Maintains and refines Business Improvement standards and methods, ensuring processes and templates are maintained in line with industry best practices.
2. Supports training for Business Improvement staff, key stakeholders, and others seeking to utilise Business Improvement techniques.
3. Maintains a repository of the City’s Business Improvement knowledge database, best practices, and case studies, facilitating sharing within the team.
4. Coordinates and reports on Business Improvement lessons learned.
5. Provides expert advice on Business Improvement in plain English, ensuring clarity and consistency.
6. Provides mentoring and guidance on Business Improvement tools.
7. Keeps abreast of and evaluates new Business Improvement tools and techniques.
8. May be responsible for process improvement delivery tasks as required.
We're looking for people who have:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project/Program Management, or similar, or equivalent industry experience.
* 2-4 years’ experience in business improvement, delivering large-scale or transformational initiatives.
* Formal qualifications in at least one of the following (multiple qualifications are highly desirable):
o Six Sigma Yellow Belt or above or equivalent
o Certified Business Process Associate (CBPA) or above or equivalent
o PROSCI or Change Management Practitioner or above or equivalent
* Driver Licence Class C unrestricted.
