Early Intervention Specialist
We provide a range of specialist therapy services that cater to the unique needs of individuals and communities. As an Early Intervention PBS Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering Positive Behavior Support services to participants under their NDIS plans.
The service is provided throughout Perth metro, regional, and remote areas across Western Australia. This position will be based in Canning Vale, with opportunities to support remote clients on a case-by-case basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct indirect and direct assessments to develop behavior support plans and functional behavioral assessments.
* Support NDIS participants, their carers, family, and significant others to achieve their goals.
* Provide training and early support in interventions and strategies outlined in the behaviour support plans.
* Collaborate with internal and external services to ensure comprehensive support.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Relevant qualification in an Allied Health background or Behavioral Science.
* Demonstrated experience working with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
* Sound understanding of early intervention support and proven ability to develop plans and reports.
* Ability to provide interventions and quality support to Families and children.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
