**Position overview**
The ANU Drill Hall Gallery is a venue of choice for many of Australia's leading contemporary artists, curators and collectors. The Gallery has developed a proud tradition of impeccably presented landmark exhibitions accompanied by scholarly publications. The Drill Hall Gallery provides the community with a selective program of high quality exhibitions of Australian and international art and supports the arts in the Canberra region by presenting exhibitions developed in conjunction with the University's wide-ranging academic interests. National and international exhibitions - and works from the University's own extensive collection - are features of the Gallery's program.
The Curator, Exhibitions is responsible for the organisation, implementation, and curatorial input for Drill Hall Gallery exhibitions, liaising with key stakeholders, curators, artists, art institutions, critics, transport and insurance agents, to ensure that these exhibitions run to the set deadlines while maintaining the highest museum standards that the Drill Hall Gallery is renowned for. The role will help to construct, manage and coordinate the exhibition program and its associated publishing, outreach, and promotional activities, while also overseeing the installation and de-installation of exhibitions within tight deadlines, and participating in the review and development of policies and budgeting for the Drill Hall Gallery.
