Project Engineer - Tier 1 Builder Project based in Canberra
Join a recognised Tier 1 builder delivering complex, high-quality projects across Canberra. As Project Engineer, you will work at the centre of design coordination, planning and technical delivery, ensuring the project is executed safely, efficiently and in line with Tier 1 standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate detailed design, resolve technical issues and support the flow of accurate documentation across all disciplines.
* Liaise with architects, consultants and subcontractors to ensure design intent, quality and constructability are maintained.
* Support program development, including discipline-specific schedules and integration into the broader project plan.
* Assist with procurement: scopes, tender documentation, evaluations and subcontractor engagement.
* Contribute to monthly forecasting (FFC), variation assessments and commercial administration.
* Provide technical support on site and assist with commissioning and project close-out planning.
* Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, including clients, authorities and suppliers.
What You Bring
* Project Engineering experience within commercial or residential building.
* Capability in design coordination, procurement, cost forecasting and subcontractor administration.
* Strong understanding of construction sequencing, planning controls and quality processes.
* Ability to interpret drawings, identify design risks and provide practical engineering solutions.
* Clear communication, disciplined follow-through and strong stakeholder management.
