About the Role
* Join a large, dynamic team of hardworking professionals
* Work in a fast‐paced, high‐volume kitchen
* Prepare, cook and serve a range of meals in accordance with cooking guidelines and recipes
* Focus on quality, consistency, and presentation of meals
* Operate a kitchen during service and in the absence of senior team members
* Demonstrate hygienic and safe work practices
* Coach and train junior team members
* Maintain and meet financial budgets while reducing wastage
Experience and Qualifications
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
* Working rights in Australia
* A passion for cooking and exceeding customer expectations
* Assist in training and guiding the future generation of chefs
* Provide support to the Sous Chef
* Help control food costs and wastage
* A positive attitude
