About the Role
Due to continued growth and project demand, we are looking for a Draftsperson with strong ArchiCAD proficiency and a solid understanding of residential construction. You'll be part of a high‐performing drafting team, responsible for producing accurate documentation, coordinating with consultants, and offering design and efficiency suggestions to support better project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete all allocated drafting tasks within agreed deadlines, proactively resolving drafting matters with your manager.
* Commission reports and technical information with external consultants and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
* Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending innovative building methods or materials for cost or quality advantages.
* Liaise with the team to ensure designs meet compliance, functionality, and aesthetic standards.
Skills & Experience Required
* Advanced ArchiCAD skills with demonstrated experience in residential drafting.
* At least 5 years' experience in the residential housing and construction industry.
* Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in preparing construction documentation.
* Tertiary qualifications in Drafting and/or Design highly regarded.
* Proven ability to work independently and within a team to meet deadlines and resolve technical issues.
