We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering renewable energy projects with engineering excellence.
About the Role
As a Senior Project Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to lead owner's engineer activities for battery energy storage systems, wind, and solar projects. You will deliver renewable energy engineering services across all project phases, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and review technical specifications, performance guarantees, and design documentation for renewable energy projects.
* Conduct technical due diligence and support compliance/commissioning activities for renewable energy projects.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project delivery and business development.
* Mentor junior engineers and promote a high standard of professionalism within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
* A degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred)
* 5+ years' experience in renewable energy engineering
* Experience developing and reviewing battery energy storage system/solar technical specifications, performance guarantees, and compliance documentation (preferred)
* Familiarity with Australian grid connection standards and processes for renewable projects (including AEMO and NSP requirements)
* Sound understanding of renewable energy technologies (battery energy storage, solar, wind)
