Bulgarr Ngaru Medical Aboriginal Corporation (BNMAC) is a Community Controlled Aboriginal Health Service delivering high-quality, culturally safe, and holistic health care to Aboriginal communities across the Clarence and Richmond Valleys, as well as the Tweed Coast.
Established in 1990 in response to the serious health impacts of asbestos exposure on Aboriginal miners, BNMAC has grown to operate three clinics in Grafton, Casino, and Tweed Heads South, providing a full spectrum of General Practice and Primary Health Care services.
We are currently seeking General Practitioners (GPs) to join our passionate and committed team. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available – no on-call requirements.

About the Role:
As a GP at BNMAC, you will deliver comprehensive, culturally appropriate primary health care, with a focus on:
* Holistic care planning and case conferencing for chronic disease management
* Antenatal, postnatal, and paediatric care
* Chronic conditions such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease
* Preventative health programs including adult and child health assessments
* Mental health and geriatric care
* Clinical leadership and mentorship within a multidisciplinary team
* Outreach services, supported by Aboriginal Health Workers
* Participation in staff education, quality improvement, and accreditation
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality general practice care aligned with RACGP/ACRRM standards
* Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical teams, and external service providers
* Contribute to community health education and promotion initiatives
* Ensure respectful, culturally safe engagement with all clients
* Support programs targeting otitis media, seasonal infections, women's/men's health, and more
* Participate in outreach, asbestos screening, and relevant community events
Selection Criteria:
* Bachelor of Medicine or equivalent recognised by the Australian Medical Council
* Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner
* Fellowship of RACGP or ACRRM, or vocational registration
* Active participation in CPD (RACGP QA & CPD or ACRRM PDP)
* Appropriate professional indemnity insurance
* Experience working in General Practice, with a strong commitment to Aboriginal health
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* A current Driver's Licence, Police Check, and NSW Working with Children Check
