Our client is a privately owned workshop focused on dieselService and maintenance, tuning, ECU Remapping. Be it light vehicles, heavy trucks, machinery and/or equipment. This role offers variety, a five day week and you are based on the Sunshine Coast! Your day-to-day will involve diagnosing faults, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting system upgrades across Light & Heavy vehicles, 4WD's, equipment and machinery. Key Responsibilities Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on light vehicles, heavy vehicles, and machinery. Conduct diagnostic testing and fault finding using advanced scanning tools. Deliver routine servicing, diesel tuning, and major overhauls. Maintain high standards of workmanship to protect the business’s strong reputation. Provide regular updates to customers regarding vehicle status and repairs. Work collaboratively within the team, sharing skills and knowledge to support collective success. Qualifications and Skills Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology, and/or Mobile Plant Technology. Relevant experience working with cars, trucks, and/or plant machinery. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities using scan tools for light/heavy vehicles and earthmoving machinery. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Reliable, responsible, and a committed team player. Current Queensland Driver’s Licence. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a mechanical workshop environment handling multiple vehicle types. Familiarity with the use of injector tester cleaning machines and brake lathes (training provided). Willingness to participate in ongoing training to enhance technical skills. Working Conditions and Benefits Permanent roles based on Monday to Friday, approximately 8am to 5pm with no weekend work.
