Oncology Registered Nurse – Regional Queensland

Locum Mental Health Registered Nurse – Regional & Remote Australia (12‑week contract)

Join us as a Locum Mental Health Registered Nurse and play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care across all divisions of mental health nursing, including community, inpatient, acute, and more. We are seeking dedicated nurses for a 12‑week contract (or more) in regional and remote locations across Australia.

In these dynamic roles, you'll work in varied settings, providing case management, planning patient care, administering medication, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining precise documentation.

Scope of Practice

* Acute Mental Health: Work in fast‑paced acute care settings, managing urgent mental health crises, stabilising patients, and coordinating with emergency services.
* Inpatient Units: Deliver consistent, supportive care to individuals requiring more intensive mental health support.
* Community Mental Health: Be a key resource for patients outside the hospital environment, offering case management, comprehensive assessments, and care planning.

Each role allows you to make a difference while expanding your skills, from crisis intervention and comprehensive assessments to individualised care plans and community outreach.


Criteria

* Qualifications: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA without restrictions.
* Experience: A minimum of 5 years in mental health nursing, particularly in case management.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities to engage effectively with patients and team members.
* Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
* Transportation: A valid driver's license for regional and remote roles.
* Flexibility: Willingness to commit to travel nursing contracts in regional/remote areas for at least 12 weeks.

Registered Nurse – Permanent Roles in Rockhampton QLD (Aged Care) Location: Rockhampton, QLD Employment Type: Permanent Full‑Time (76 hours per fortnight) Pay Rates: $41.58 - $48.63 per hour (RN Level 1.1 - 1.4) Work Type: AM, PM & Night Shifts

We are seeking experienced and graduate Registered Nurses to join a well-regarded aged care facility located in Rockhampton, Central Queensland.

This aged care facility provides high-quality, person-centred care within a warm and supportive team environment. With strong clinical leadership and excellent staffing ratios, this is a fantastic opportunity for RNs who are passionate about aged care and looking for long‑term stability.


Facility Overview

* Medium sized residential aged care home in Rockhampton
* 13 beds dedicated to dementia care; 52 beds a mix of low and high care
* Single‑storey design with private ensuites and outdoor garden access
* Excellent staffing ratios:
o 2 RNs on AM and PM shifts
o 1 RN overnight
* Supportive clinical leadership team, including full‑time senior clinical staff
* Focused on staff development, collaboration, and quality care
