Job Description
SGS has a great chance for a Geochemistry Laboratory Manager join our relief pool. This is a FIFO position travelling to our various onsite Laboratories:
Responsibilities include, however not limited to:
- Keep clients informed on progress of samples and answer queries.
- Manage priorities and monitor progress to ensure timeliness and quality of results.
- Ensure staff training and records are kept.
- Responsible for quality and accuracy of results.
- Provide regular management and quality reports.
- Ensure equipment is adequately maintained.
- Maintain and improve own knowledge to be able to contribute towards progression of the laboratory.
- Responsibility for P&L; whilst working within a defined budget.
- Contribute to setting operating and capex budget
