We are seeking a dedicated Safety Professional to join our team. As a key member, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of our project.
Main Responsibilities:
* Monitor and support the safety function under general supervision to provide operational support to the project management team.
* Implement safety programs for project employees, focusing on compliance with safety systems and procedures within the workplace.
* Assist with workers compensation claims and rehabilitation processes, as well as conducting incident and accident investigations.
* Conduct regular safety inspections and monitoring work areas to ensure a safe working environment.
* Establish positive working relationships with project personnel, raising awareness of safety risks and promoting a culture of safety.
* Assist in developing communications tools and records for all project safety meetings, ensuring effective information sharing.
* Prepare and maintain reports and documentation concerning project safety programs, providing valuable insights for improvement.
Requirements:
* Diploma of Work Health and Safety or equivalent qualification.
* Safety Lead Auditor certification.
* At least 3 years of experience in construction safety management.
* Quantitative and qualitative risk assessment skills, as well as monitoring and reviewing risk controls.
* Experience with compliance inspections, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
* Familiarity with safety management techniques and tools, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
