About the role:
We’re looking for a casual detail-oriented Data Entry Administrator to join our busy Rockhampton Laboratory. This is a great opportunity for someone with administrative skills who enjoys working in a dynamic blue collar environment, supporting a technical team.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Accurate and timely data entry
* Processing laboratory documentation
* Using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Answering phones and greeting clients
* Assisting with accounts payable tasks
* Providing general admin support to the laboratory team
This is a Permanent / Part-time role with holiday pay and sick pay. Following initial training, hours are around 16–24 hours per week
We’re seeking someone who brings:
* A desire to work in a long term role
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Excellent organisation and time-management skills
* The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* A positive and professional approach when interacting with clients and colleagues
* Teamwork and a willingness to support others in the lab environment
