We are looking for a hands‐on and motivated Site Supervisor to join our Incitec Pivot Fertilisers team in Mackay, Queensland. This is a great opportunity to step into a leadership role while remaining close to day–to–day operations.

Key responsibilities
* Supervise day‐to‐day site operations, including product receival, blending, storage and dispatch activities.
* Lead, coach and support site employees, seasonal workers and contractors to achieve safe and efficient outcomes.
* Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring all work is performed in accordance with company policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
* Oversee bulk product handling activities, including the operation of mobile plant and equipment such as front‐end loaders.
* Coordinate dispatch operations to ensure customer orders are completed accurately, efficiently and on schedule.
* Partner with the Maintenance Coordinator to support equipment reliability, preventative maintenance activities and minimise operational downtime.
* Provide hands‐on operational support across the site, including operating plant and equipment as required.
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping, environmental compliance and site presentation.
* Support shipping, vessel unloading and port‐related activities as required.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, operational performance and customer service outcomes.
The key skills required for this role include:
* Previous experience in a supervisory or leading hand role within operations, logistics or manufacturing
* Strong safety focus and commitment to safe work practices
* Practical, hands‐on approach with the ability to step in and support the team
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to plan, organise and solve problems in a fast‐paced environment
* Basic computer skills and experience using systems (e.g. SAP or D365), desirable
