This position is paid under the Fast Food Industry Award 2020, Level 3, as the employee is appointed to be in charge of a store and supervise other staff.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Customer Experience Department Manager to lead service excellence across McDonald\'s restaurants in Mackay and surrounding regional areas.
This role is highly specialised, requiring McDonald\'s-specific management experience and detailed knowledge of customer service frameworks unique to the brand. The position works closely with the Store General Manager (Restaurant Manager) to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Guest Experience team to foster a customer-obsessed culture .
* Train staff in McDonald\'s service procedures and customer recovery strategies.
* Handle customer complaints and maintain brand reputation.
* Ensure cleanliness and presentation standards across the store.
* Coordinate promotions, in-store campaigns, and community engagement activities.
* Analyse customer feedback and performance metrics to improve satisfaction.
* Drive sales growth through enhanced service delivery and guest experience.
Qualifications & Experience
* Diploma in Leadership, Hospitality, or related discipline, plus 12 months of McDonald\'s managerial experience ; OR
* Three (3) years of McDonald\'s managerial experience if no formal qualification.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively with the Store General Manager (Restaurant Manager) .
