We are looking for a Assistant Production Supervisor to join our accounts team in our Botany facility.
Position Duties:
* Identifying production and workflow bottlenecks and report to Production Manager.
* Directly overseeing production staff, providing required training and procedures, and managing shift schedules.
* Working with quality assurance to address client complaints.
* Discuss production plan and plan for manpower with the Production Manager.
* Documenting daily operations and identifying training requirements.
* Create and maintain an efficient, hygienic, and positive working environment.
* Check and control the equipment that the makes the food.
* Display good work ethics, resourcefulness, and organisation.
* Understand the Standard Operating Procedures and Inspection Regulations.
* Ensure quality control and check the equipment that makes food for the efficient workflow.
* Controlling manpower and in the production as assign necessary task to each process worker.
* Assist in finalizing approvals for staff timesheets and leave requests on Deputy with Production Supervisor to ensure accurate payroll preparation.
* Maintain Good Hygiene Practice and Good Manufacturing practice in the production area.
* Promote health and safety in the workplace. Ensures all staff strictly adhere to Health, Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Previous manufacturing or production experience, often with a background in a leadership or team lead role.
* High school diploma or equivalent is required, with an associate or bachelor's degree in business or production management preferred.
* Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
