**ENGINEERING BOM (Bill of Materials) COORDINATOR**

**ABOUT THE POSITION**
The Engineering Bill of Material (BOM) Coordinator is responsible for providing accurate Bill of Material selection information to Operations. To enable sales orders to be processed via the system and provide accurate & complete chassis information for Production & Materials. This ensures timely procurement and assembly of chassis parts via our database system.
Reporting to Engineering Operations Supervisor
**Responsibilities**
- Ensuring correct Bill of material (BOM) are identified to suit different options, customer requests and engineering requirements.
- Largely working within the database utilising the BOM library to make relevant changes to the truck order.
- Liaising with key internal business stakeholders to ensure quality of any pre-production specification and documentation.
- Creating requests for engineering information when the BOM does not exist to fulfil the customers' requirements.
- Process improvements with a focus on quality and output

- High attention to detail, interpreting large amounts of data regularly.
- Previous experience working with databases.

**Knowledge / Capabilities / Qualifications**
- Tertiary qualifications preferred (I.T or Business)
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to interpret technical drawings preferred.

- Number of errors per sales order
- Ensure that chassis sales orders are completed in a timely & accurate manner.
- Productivity Metric: Match Production build rate
