are working with a government organisation in Brisbane, who are seeking an experienced Human Resource Advisor on a 6 month contract with opportunity.
About The Role
As the Senior People and Culture Advisor, you'll be a key advisor and partner to leaders across the business—applying your HR expertise to influence positive workplace outcomes, support organisational change, and enhance employee experience.
You'll lead the development of people policies, deliver tailored HR advice, and oversee employee lifecycle activities from recruitment to workforce planning and capability development. You'll also provide day-to-day guidance to a People and Culture Officer.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive advice across HR matters, including performance, development, and policy application
* Lead the review, development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
* Support recruitment and selection, workforce planning and change initiatives
About you:
* Available to start immediately.
* Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end HR services in a dynamic environment
* Qualifications or 4+ years' experience in HR, employee relations, or a related discipline.
* High-level interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, consult and influence stakeholders
* Excellent written and verbal communication, with a flair for clear and concise advice
* A positive, proactive mindset and a genuine commitment to employee wellbeing
* Familiarity with HR legislation, public sector frameworks and modern workplace practice.
