The Chess Electrics team is fluid, responsive and reliable. Specialising in major projects installations, electrical services, maintenance, labour hire, and assisting our clients throughout Queensland.
Chess Electrics is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our works at Simberi, PNG. This role will be FIFO with a 14/7 Roster.
Qualifications & Experience:
* 5-10 years' experience in a similar role, within the mining or construction industry
* Electrical engineering or electrical license
* Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and principals
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)
* Expertise with using cloud-based reporting software
Role and responsibilities
* Lead and oversee the Project team
* Prepare project reports for the client and senior Chess management
* Prepare and complete Quality Documentation and ITP's, ITR's, MDR's, and issue RFIs.
* Prepare and monitor Project Schedules
* Monitor budget requirements together with timelines for project milestones
* Coordinate the Project Administration, ensuring function and support to complete the project
* Estimate and quote variation work for the client working within Chess Electrics guidelines
* Follow and uphold the site safety procedures and adhere to Chess Electrics HSEQ policies and procedures. Including attending Toolboxes, etc.
* Reporting and assisting with the investigation of all incidents in the workplace.
