A sales assistant is sought by a leading irrigation company to provide exceptional customer service and sales support in their retail shop environment. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated background in retail or customer service, with the ability to stay level-headed under pressure and deliver positive customer experiences.
Key responsibilities of the role include responding promptly to retail and trade customer enquiries, competently resolving any potential customer service issues, and providing practical solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. In addition, the successful applicant will be required to operate point-of-sale software, undertake electronic data entry of sales orders and quotation documentation, and maintain a welcoming and well-presented retail shop environment.

Requirements:
* A cool, calm and level-headed approach when dealing with customers and busy periods
* Industry experience not essential, however the ideal applicant will have a demonstrated retail and/or customer service background & focus
* A team player who can also stay focused and execute required tasks without the need for constant supervision
* Ability to build rapport and maintain positive customer relationships
* Strong work ethic
* Complete tasks to the highest standard
* Clear and professional communication skills
* Ability to prioritise and multi-task in a dynamic environment
* Willingness to learn, develop new skills, and engage in ongoing training
* A manual driver's licence (Class C) is preferred but not essential
* Ability to pass medical and random drug/alcohol screening
