Operations strategy manager (global events)

We are building a new team of Strategic Event Operations Managers to lead the design and execution of our most complex and high-impact events globally. These events involve large partners, new formats, and operational challenges that often require building solutions from scratch. This role spans from early-stage definition to final execution, owning the full operational strategy of each project. It is highly autonomous and designed for individuals who thrive in ambiguity, take ownership, and build structure where none exists.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the operational strategy of large-scale, high-complexity events.
* Own projects from early planning stages through execution.
* Ensure delivery meets partner expectations and internal standards.
* Translate partner needs into scalable operational models.
* Design processes, workflows, and tools from scratch when needed.
* Define how the event should be run— not just how to execute it.
* Break down complex, undefined problems into actionable plans.
* Anticipate operational risks and design mitigation strategies.
* Make decisions with incomplete information.
* Work closely with Sales, Originals, Product, and local Operations teams.
* Align multiple stakeholders around a clear execution plan.
* Act as the main operational point of contact for key partners.
* Ensure designed solutions are effectively implemented on the ground.
* Support local teams in executing complex setups.
* Step in when needed to unblock critical issues.

* Complex events delivered without relying on existing playbooks.
* New operational models designed, tested, and reused.
* Partners see Fever as a strategic operator, not just an executor.
* Ambiguity is reduced through clear structure and decision-making.
* Projects move forward without constant supervision or escalation.
About You Experience
* 2–5 years of experience in consulting (MBB or similar).
* 2–5 years of experience in strategy & operations in high-growth companies.
* Proven experience solving complex, ambiguous problems.
* Experience leading projects end-to-end.
Skills & Mindset

* High ownership: You operate independently with minimal guidance.
* Strategic + execution balance: You can design and implement.
* Strong stakeholder management: You influence without authority.
Nice to Have
* Experience in operational environments (logistics, marketplaces, large-scale ops).
* Exposure to live events or large-scale physical operations.
* Analytical skills (Excel, SQL) are a plus.
Languages
* Fluent English required.
