Job Description Reporting to the Senior Mine Accountant, you will be responsible for taking a hands-on and proactive role in the support of the financial and operational functions of the business.

About the Role Dynamic & diverse position that draws on management and financial accounting skills
Involvement in key commercial activities including end of month, budgets, forecasting and life of mine
Working closely with a variety of stakeholders across each key area within HVO and outside of the organisation
The successful candidate will also be provided with the opportunity to be mentored and developed whilst honing existing skills and increasing your commercial acumen.
You will join a supportive team who are open to change and continuous improvement whilst gaining understanding of the operational and technical aspects of Mining.

About You Tertiary qualifications in accounting or a related discipline
Interest in numbers and processes
A team player who is confident when working independently and has the ability to think on their feet
Clear communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly motivated individual with ability to successfully drive change
Sound ability to interrogate data and understand "the why" by looking for patterns
Ideally, the successful candidate will be working towards, or open to, gaining CPA or CA accreditations
