The Specialised Services Coordinator plays a key administrative and operational role in supporting the effective delivery of Specialised Services on Wormall Civil projects. This position is responsible for coordinating departmental bookings, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources and equipment, and providing a high level of support to the Specialised Services Manager.

The role requires strong organisational and communication skills to manage schedules, liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensure services run smoothly and efficiently. The Specialised Services Coordinator acts as a central point of contact, helping to maintain accurate records, streamline processes, and support day to day operations across the department.

By proactively coordinating logistics, monitoring resource availability, and assisting with planning and reporting activities, the Specialised Services Coordinator contributes to the overall quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of Specialised Service delivery.

What your day will look like:

* Provide high level administrative and operational support to the Specialised Services Manager to ensure the effective delivery of Specialised Services projects.
* Coordinate and manage departmental bookings, including allocating resources, and maintaining accurate booking records.
* Act as a central point of contact for the Specialised Services department, responding to enquiries and providing positive communications verbally and electronically.
* Support the day to day operations of Specialised Services by assisting with workflow coordination and prioritising tasks.
* Liaise with Project Managers, Site Supervisors and department staff to confirm work scope, service availability and resource requirements.
* Monitor department bookings, identify conflicts, gaps and capacity issues.
* Liaise with external hire companies and suppliers to source and confirm equipment requirements.
* Monitor and investigate hire and internal equipment status, and follow up with project personnel as required.
* Update, amend and maintain department registers to ensure department efficiency and accurate scheduling.
* Carry out other general administrative tasks as required ensuring smooth and efficient operations throughout departments.

About you:

* Basic skills in Microsoft applications such as Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong organisation, planning and time management skills.

Highly Desirable:

* Previous experience and current knowledge of the traffic management industry and requirements.
* Previous experience in a similar administrative and coordination role.
* Previous experience in resourcing and scheduling.
