The Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer you will be responsible for providing financial strategy and finance transformation to embed best-practice reporting and governance, support the evolution of a contemporary business partnering model, and deliver a progressive continuous improvement program.

This position will see you lead and inspire the Finance function to develop and continually grow to deliver solutions aligned to business needs to drive commercial outcomes and maximise performance. The duties of your role will include but not be limited to the following.

* Contribute to shaping the strategic direction of the business
* Build a culture that drives performance excellence and development
* Lead the development of financial strategy and business plan
* Lead the finance function transformation to embed best-practice reporting and governance, support the evolution of a contemporary business partnering model, and deliver a progressive continuous improvement program
* Oversee financial planning and analysis in partnership with the business to set annual and three-year financial budgets with the SLG and the Board Finance and Risk Management Committee
* Oversee finance business partnering to monitor budget to actual performance and partner with Executive and senior Leaders to provide insights to drive business performance and control cost
* Oversee finance operations including accounts payable and receive and payroll to meet service level, finance risk, compliance and governance, external audit
* Oversee procurement and facilities management to meet business needs and enable operating efficiencies
* Drive customer focus to enable continuous improvement and best practice systems and processes
TheCandidate
Ideally CA or CPA qualified, this role demands excellent communication skills, proven stakeholder management skills and experience leading reporting and business partnering teams. The successful candidate will have proven broad accounting experience gained in a medium to large corporate ideally within a fast-paced environment.
