Our dream is to be part of a future where people with disability reach their potential and feel happy, respected, and confident. We are proudly the region's largest Integrated Employment organisation, with an equal focus on the social and economic outcomes of our purpose. We achieve this through working together as one team and valuing, mentoring, coaching, and supporting all people that work with us. The role of Quality & Assurance Officer plays an important part in supporting our Team to be successful in a safe work environment.
The Opportunity:
As a Quality Assurance Officer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our products and processes meet the highest quality standards. You'll work closely with various departments to support compliance with industry regulations and maintain the integrity of our systems. While prior experience in quality management, regulatory standards, and manufacturing processes is beneficial, it is not required—we're just as interested in your willingness to learn and grow in the field.
In this role, you will be involved in monitoring and improving quality performance through regular internal audits, inspections, and data analysis. You'll help identify areas for improvement, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues. You will also maintain detailed records of your findings, ensuring all quality assurance activities are properly documented for internal and external reporting.
About You:
You bring strong experience in regulatory standards, manufacturing processes, and quality systems, or a willingness to learn and grow in these areas. Your skills in quality management, statistical analysis, and data interpretation enable you to deliver consistent results. While prior experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions is valuable, it's not essential — we value your ability to learn and adapt. Your attention to detail ensures success in a structured, process-driven environment.
A willingness to learn and grow within the Compliance team is highly valued, as is the ability to communicate openly and build strong, trusting relationships with a variety of stakeholders. We're looking for someone who works well within a team but also demonstrates sound judgment and initiative when the situation calls for it.
At Merriwa, you'll find a supportive and collaborative work environment where professional development is encouraged.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo mandatory checks as required including; NDIS Worker Screener Check and Police Check.
