The Opportunity
We are seeking a Laboratory Technician who is excited by the challenges of our business and variety this role offers. This permanent FIFO position will be based at our Ironbridge site in regional WA. Depending on the focus of your role, you will be using specialised equipment for laboratory testing of samples or performing manual handling tasks to prepare samples.
Key Responsibilities
* Sample Preparation
* XRF and DTR operation
* Operating, maintaining and troubleshooting instruments
* QA/QC
* Scheduling and reporting
About You
* Experience in Sample Preparation, DTR and XRF is highly regarded
* LIMS experience preferred
* High degree of computer literacy preferred
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to maintain a high quality of work while meeting daily production targets
* Ability to comply with site specific and Bureau Veritas QHSE policies
* Ability to work independently and as a team
* WHS Statutory Supervisor (S26) compliant
Roster
* 8/6/7/7 rotating day and night shift roster
