We are seeking an exceptional Shop Supervisor to join our retail team. This is a part-time role based at the Red Hill Homemaker Centre.
This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent customer service and effective merchandising abilities. As a shop supervisor you will be responsible for leading, motivating and managing a team of sales assistants, ensuring they achieve their targets and provide outstanding customer service.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a retail setting
* An enthusiastic attitude with a passion for achieving sales targets
* Strong stock management and merchandising skills
* Experience with point-of-sale systems
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The key responsibilities of this role include:
* Leading and developing a team to achieve sales goals
* Visual merchandising to optimize store environment and sales
* Recruiting, training and developing staff
* Roster management to ensure smooth operations
* Stock management to maintain inventory control strategies
* Store maintenance, including upkeep, housekeeping, paperwork and stock receipting
