The Commonwealth requires the services of a Command and Control (C2) Application Integration Engineer to supplement the contractor workforce within the Land Network Integration Centre (LNIC). This proposal seeks to engage an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Advanced Practitioner to assist the LNIC with the design, development, build and support of LNIC deployable systems, and integration of configurations and software into LNIC and external project delivered information domains within the Land Combat System.
The position is primarily a technical hands-on role, with responsibility to conduct capability development, as well as design, build, maintenance and configuration control tasks within a small team. It requires a combination of disciplines including communications network engineering, systems integration, innovation, test and evaluation, and documentation (technical and security).
As a technical subject matter expert within a small team, the resource will also be expected to contribute to the design of LNIC C4ISR, or data presentation solutions, as well as review project design documentation and provide advice on integration across land project and program system interfaces. This is inclusive of capability development and configuration control tasks of C4ISR related applications and technologies on networks within the Land Combat System. This includes virtualisation technology, networking technologies, routing protocols and containerisation.
Every application requires to address selection criteria as part of application submission:
Qualifications, or practical experience with the following systems or concepts: Networking technologies and techniques. PKI. Infrastructure, including hosting and virtualised environments. Is formally trained in, or have extensive practical experience in the specific deployment and administration of military C4ISR networks, applications or systems. Experience with network integration at the tactical and operational levels within the ADF. Deliverables: Install, configure, and integrate C4ISR applications in support of the Land Combat System Network Needs, and follow-on Army initiatives in support of capability decisions.
