Job Overview:
The Aquatic Team Lead is responsible for leading a team to develop and implement an effective program for achieving desired outcomes.
* Lead the development of a comprehensive program that aligns with organizational goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of the aquatic program within established guidelines.
* Promote the aquatic program and encourage participation in affiliated swimming clubs.
* Maintain adequate qualifications for the delivered program and ensure all activities are conducted in a safe environment.
* Monitor swimmer progression and work with the Swimming and Water Safety program to identify talented individuals and encourage participation.
* Conduct swimming competitions in a safe and controlled manner.
Requirements:
* Competitive Swimming/Stroke Teacher - Bronze level qualification preferred.
* Current First Aid Certificate.
* Current CPR Certificate.
* Valid Working with Children Check.
* National Police Check.
* Previous experience and success in a comparable role.
* Excellent verbal communication skills.
