Site Manager
A key aspect of the role is to spearhead and coordinate all project activities, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards are met, and that project objectives are fulfilled. This encompasses overseeing budgets, workforce allocation, and maintaining excellent relationships with clients, stakeholders, and site personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop comprehensive project plans, encompassing timelines, resource management, and budget optimization
* Lead and direct subcontractors, site personnel, and support teams
* Principal point of contact for clients and other project stakeholders
* Oversee and manage site operations, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency
* Maintain professional relationships with tradespeople, suppliers, and clients
* Promote OH&S compliance, address site hazards, and maintain incident records
* Manage project finances, monitor progress, and mitigate risks
The ideal candidate will have:
* A strong portfolio of education or commercial projects in the $5-$50M range
* Trade Qualification in Carpentry or equivalent trade experience
* Leadership skills, demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively, including subcontractors, suppliers, and support staff
* Depth of knowledge in construction methodologies and various trade practices
* Experience with Microsoft Project, Procore, and HammerTech an advantage
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team environment
* Strong awareness of OH&S protocols
* Construction Industry White Card mandatory
* Working with Children Check or willingness to undergo check
